This home-makeover challenge will forever impact the lives of these terrific, deserving children. Read more... Have you ever thought about performing a “random act of kindess” and not to sure how to go about it? “Nine Days for Nine Children” Home Makeover is the last week of September (Friday 21st – Saturday 29th). We will be doing a variety of upgrades to the house including moving a few walls, adding another bathroom, upgrading the kitchen, building a family room in the basement, re-roofing the house, landscaping the yard, and generally sprucing up the place! The project site at 513 Middle Road in Fairfield will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day. Volunteers will be asked to do demolition work, debris removal, rebuilding/remodeling, painting, cleaning, landscaping, carpenter’s help, or to be a “runner” to pick up donated materials. Project Coordinators will be on site the entire time to supervise and answer questions. The Champagne family will also be working along side of us to get the job done!
