A Note From The Founder I am overwhelmed by the generosity of so many people who have come forward to offer their kind words, their time, and their money to support Nine Days for Nine Children. This home-makeover challenge will forever impact the lives of these terrific, deserving children. In spite of the difficulties these children have faced, they are bright, sociable, well-adjusted youngsters who have embraced life and hold their heads high. They play team sports, are honor roll students and maintain summer jobs. They have been raised to respect themselves and others and most importantly, to respect the value of their family. It is my privilege to lend a helping hand to the Champagne family and set them on a course for self-sufficiency. It will clearly be up to them to use this opportunity as a launching pad for financial stability, and with continued coaching and guidance, I am confident that Karen and the children will do their very best to make the most of what is being done for them. I would like to sincerely thank each of you for partnering with me in making a difference in the lives of others, no matter how big or small of a part you may play. If even for a moment you have been reminded to slow down and help your neighbor, or of how great it feels to give, then you too have gained from this endeavor.
